Fauci Compares COVID-19 to the Flu


So, why did we lock down the economy?

I'll keep this short because what Dr. Anthony Fauci says speaks for itself.

On March 26, 2020, Fauci co-authored a paper in the New England Journal of Medicine, outlining what was known about COVID-19 and what we could expect to happen from the data he had compiled.

He said:

“This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%).”

We have been admonished, called insensitive, and dubbed ignorant for daring to compare COVID-19 to the flu, and yet, Fauci does exactly that. 

And, of course, this begs the question: why did we shut down the global economy and force millions of people into unemployment for a flu?

This is not about the virus....
